Abstract

The current study aimed to diagnose the need of departments in tourism organizations and projects for the main role of administrative leadership and the skills required in leadership behavior to keep pace with environmental changes, in addition to reviewing the historical development of leadership management approaches. On this basis, the study focused on testing the relationship of correlation and influence between the skills of the tourism project leader (skills Personality, technical skills specific to the task, cognitive skills, communication skills) and environmental changes (external changes, special industrial environment, internal environment) at Holy Karbala Airport, and from this standpoint came its problem (were the leaders of Karbala International Airport able to invest their skills within tourism projects and in a way that Keep pace with change in the external environment?
